Common Questions

If you're wondering what a session with an animal communicator or pet psychic is like, what to expect, or whether this is right for you — you're in the right place

Animal Communication & Pet Psychic Sessions

What is an animal communication session and how does it work?

An animal communication session is a telepathic conversation with your animal — whether they are living or have passed. I connect telepathically with your pet and receive impressions, feelings, images, and sometimes words that reflect what they are experiencing or wish to share. It can be healing for both of you — offering a deeper understanding of who they are and what their perspective on life with you actually is. Sessions are held online via Zoom or phone, with clients in Seattle, Chicago, and worldwide including the UK and Australia.

What kinds of things do people ask about in a session?

People come with all kinds of questions — why their animal behaves a certain way, whether they are happy, what they need, how they are feeling, whether they are ready to transition, or simply what they want their person to know. There are no wrong questions. Some people arrive with a list. Others come with an open heart and let the session find its own direction.

Do you work with all types of animals?

Yes — dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, and wildlife. I work from a photo and your pet's name. Whether I have met them in person makes no difference to the connection.

Does my pet need to be with me during the session?

No. All I need is a photo of your animal or a description and their name — that's the whole connection. Your pet can be anywhere; they don't need to be present, aware, or even awake.

Will animal communication stop a behavior problem, like training would?

Not quite — animal communication helps you understand why your animal is behaving the way they are, not command them to stop. That understanding often leads to real, lasting change, but it isn't a substitute for training.

Can I include more than one animal in a session?

Yes — with some flexibility. A one-hour session can cover two animals, depending on what the intention of your session is. Beyond that, it takes away from the quality time an animal needs to go deeper into what they have to share.

Do I need to believe in animal communication for it to work?

Skepticism and openness can coexist. Many clients arrive skeptical of this kind of work and leave with something they didn't expect. I don't require belief — only a willingness to be present. What comes through in a session tends to speak for itself. If you're skeptical, this blog post is for you.

Can you help locate a lost pet?

Yes. I approach this from a place of connecting with your animal to help bring them home — often picking up impressions of their surroundings, landmarks, or condition, and working from there toward a path back to you. There's no guarantee of a specific outcome, but the connection can offer real clarity during a hard time.

What's the difference between an animal communicator and a pet psychic?

For me, two different roads that met in the middle. What seemed like a decade in psychic school, then certification with Penelope Smith in animal communication. Different training, different skillsets — overlapping now. I use both terms honestly, because both are true.

Pet Loss & Mediumship

Can you communicate with a pet that has already passed?

Yes. The connection doesn't end when a pet passes — it changes. I work with animals who have recently crossed over as well as those who passed years ago. There is no expiration on this kind of communication. Many clients find that hearing from their pet brings unexpected comfort and peace.

How is a pet loss session different from an animal communication session?

A pet loss session is specifically focused on grief, connection, and what remains after a pet has passed. As a certified animal communicator and psychic medium with death doula training, I hold space for both the practical and the profound — what your companion experienced, whether they are at peace, what they still wish to share. For many people it becomes an unexpected doorway into grief support and their own healing.

Healing & Deeper Work

What does holistic healing have to do with animal communication?

Animals carry no pretense. They reflect what is true — about themselves, and often about us. A session that begins with a behavioral question or a grief process frequently opens into something wider — clarity about a relationship, a pattern, a part of yourself that needed to be seen. I work at the intersection of animal communication, psychic mediumship, and holistic healing, and I hold space for wherever the session needs to go. Animal communication can be a doorway into your own healing, not just a conversation with your pet. If that's a door you want to open further, a psychic reading for yourself is a natural next step.

Psychic Readings

Do you offer psychic readings for people as well as animals?

Yes. Alongside animal communication and pet loss work I offer psychic readings for people — including clairvoyant readings and intuitive guidance, past life readings, akashic records sessions, and astral healings. For many clients the two are deeply connected — what begins as a session about an animal often opens into something wider about their own path. Sessions are online via Zoom or phone, worldwide.
